This policy covers the O4W Tech Gmail integration (the "app"). The app is a private, single-account integration. It exists so that the account owner's own automation can read the account owner's own Gmail. It is not a public service and it is not offered to other users.
What data is accessed
The app requests one Google OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
With that scope the app can read Gmail messages and related mailbox metadata (such as labels, senders, subjects, dates, and message content) in the account owner's own Gmail account. Access is read-only. The app is used only for the account owner's own personal use.
What the app cannot and does not do
- The app never sends email.
- The app does not modify, delete, or label messages. The read-only scope does not allow it.
- The app never shares, sells, or transmits Gmail data to third parties.
- The app does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
How the data is used
Gmail data is used only to let the account owner's own automation read the account owner's own mail. It is not used for any other purpose.
Only one Google account is connected: the account owner's own. No other users can sign in, and no other users' data is collected or processed.
Storage and retention
Any Gmail data the app reads stays on systems controlled by the account owner and is kept only as long as the account owner needs it for their own personal use. OAuth credentials are stored privately by the account owner and are not shared with anyone.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
The account owner can remove the app's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is removed, the app can no longer read any Gmail data.
This website
This website is a set of static pages. It has no forms, no accounts, no cookies set by O4W Tech, and no analytics or tracking scripts.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
